Dear Neelay and Rafal Ji,
Thank you for the explanation. In my case although the baadhak isn't afflicted and exalted I still have seen some difficulties wearing a diamond for shukra though.

Dear Kris,
Allow me to share what i know about it. A yogakarka is a planet whic occupies a kona and kendra in a rashi. For kumbha rashi it is Ve because it is lord of 4th and 9 th house.
For Movable, Fixed & Dual Signs the sign of obstruction (Bädhaka) is the 11th, 9th, & 7th house respectively.
Aquarius being a fixed sign badhakeh is lord of 9th, Ve.
Regarding what implication it has, Rafal ji can explain better.
till then you can quench your curioisty by reading this.

Thank You Neelay!
This case is really interesting, similar for Taurus Lagna Sani is lording ninth and tenth being badhaka. The answer is more simple than we can imagine: if that planet is afflicted then it behaves like badhak, otherwise like Yogakarakaa.

Post subject: Baadhak
Dear Rafal Ji,
Could you explain the anomaly on this principle?I think for Kumbha lagna Sukra being the 9th lord is a baadhak, how come this planet is a rajayogakarak too?In my case shukra is exalted in 2nd house,so why is still considered a baadhak? What are the essential rules for a baadhak?
Rgds,
Kris
