Om Namah Shivaya Namah Rameshwaraya,
Dear Guest,
First of all let me clarify that Ishaana, Sadyojata etc. are not different types of intelligence. Those are the names of five forms of Lord Shiva. This is very important.
Another thing is that, to better understand panchamahapurusha yogas, one must first understand that all beings contain five tattvas in their constitution. Tattva can be translated as an 'element' and you should know those five elements: fire (agni) , water (jala) , air (vayu), earth (prthvi) and ether (akash) and their effects/characteristics. There are people, who have perfect characteristics of one of these tattvas by having a mahapurusha yoga. This makes them mahapurushas – great personalities.
Qualities of these people are presented by many Jyotishas and Rishis in thier books. Let's just take, for example, Parashara Muni and Mantreshwara. So you may take a look and study. The effects that these yogas give are described there also. Let us therefore take a look at your questions.
You ask about intelligence and panchamahapurusha yogas. These five planets representing the panca tattva and forming mahapurusha yogas by being strong in kendra (own sign, moolatrikona or exalted) to lagna are influencing one's personality. By influencing the overall personality of the native they influence his/her intelligence. A person is blessed with this spark of inteligence of Shiva (five heads of Lord Shiva) to become a mahapurusha. It means that some people have somehow or other 'earned' the credit to become somewhat empowered, become great human beings etc. To understand this better you need to study these yogas. Try to understand that these yogas can colour the natives actions and way of being. Although they often lead to interest in occult powers, spirituality and so on, that does not guarantee spiritualism in its pure sense. People with mahapurusha yogas apply their intelligence to grasp what is usually beyond the grasp of regular people.
You also ask when do these yogas come into picture...first of all, you need to understand that only one can come into picture. All can be present in one person provided that he is God. Otherwise it is not possible. Once Draupadi has asked Lord Shiva for a blessing. In India, even today, ladies usually worship Shiva to get a nice husband. So Draupadi asked the Lord that she desires to have a husband who is just like Him. Please notice that Mahadeva has five faces (five forms) and these five tattvas rest in Him in perfection. So, as it is not possible by the law of creation to be a human being and have all of these mahapurusha yogas, Lord Shiva replied: '' You will be given five husbands, each of them having one of these qualities in perfection''. That is why Draupadi had five husbands and that is why only one of mahapurusha yogas can work in the chart. Also dasas of planets causing mahapurusha yogas will be very beneficial, resulting in name, fame and happiness, unless this planet retrogrades. If it is, than the native experiences opposite results.
There are also many other factors that influence the presence of such yoga in a chart. These come down in parampara.
I hope that this helps.

Om Namah Shivaya Namah Rameshvaraya,
Namaskar,
First of all mahapurusha yoga is formed only by the planets governing the pancatattva. These five planets represent five forms of Lord Shiva. A person having Mahapurusha yoga is blessed with the inteligence of one of these forms of Mahadeva.
Mangal, governing agni tattva, represents Aghora. Shani, governing vayu tattva, represents Tatpurusha. Guru, governing akash tattva, represents Ishaana. Buddha, governing prthvi tattva, represents Sadyojata and Shukra governing jala tattva represents Vaamadeva.
As far as placement is concerned I know that sign is quite important. For instance, Hamsa Mahapurusha yoga in Dhanus and Meena is different. In Dhanus it gives more focus on dharma, while in Meena it gives more focus on moksha.
Please explain what these different type of intelligence mean such as Ishaana, Sadyojata etc.
Moreover when do these Mahapurusha yogas come into picture in the lifetime of a native.

Dear Rafal-Ji, Namaste,
Many thanks for this new forum.
I was wondering why Surya and Chandra do not form Mahapurush yogas?
Also how do the results compare when this yoga is formed in different kendras?
Many thanks in advance, Gilbert.
P.S.: I noticed after posting, that there was a seperate heading for yogas, sorry for this.
About houses: Mahapurusa Yoga draw whole attention of chart, it will represents new inteligence of person and any affliction to this planet can be problematic, it also gives tattwa, Devata and ayana which also are outside any bhava. After that general distribution of elements and qualities for the native that Yoga will bless with standart rule of judging bhava placement, 4H for Vehicles, Home and Luxuries, 10H for karmayoga etc. Surya and Moon will remove the blockage and premature ending, so Luminaries are very important also.
