How to relate Rasi chart to Navamsa chart. Whether planet's placement in Rasi chart is to considered with placement in Navamsa ? and
each house lordship is also to be seen. I mean if in a Rasi chart
lagnesh is placed in Kendra and in Navamsa it is in evil house that
would be sufficient , or the Navamsa's ascendant lord position should also
be seen.
It would be nice if some example can be given.
Thanks Vinod

There are many methods, D1 Lagnesh in D9 shows strength of intellect. Navamsa shows is more important when we talk about Avastha and it related to our dharma from previous birth, Rasi is its manifestation. Navamsa Lagnesh shows about Your attitude in marriage.

Is Navamsa Lagnesh the lord of lagna of navamsa. And where to check for the attitude towards marriage, from the position of lagnesh of navmsa in navamsa chart or in rasi chart.

I believe it would be nice to give some examples of Rasi and Navamsa of some native to interpret them and to see how they are related.

Navamsa Lagna shows attitude related to Vivaha. Lagnesh shows active inteligence - we see this in Navamsa Chakra.

Hare Raama Krishna,
Namaskar,
bhavanaadipaih samastam jaatakavihitam vicintayenmatimaan |
ebhirvinaa na staakyam padaapi gantum mahaasthaastre ||
In this verse Kalyan Verma, author of Saravali, states that divisional charts should be taken into consideration while studying the chart. He states in this sloka that without knowing them one cannot make even the slightest progress in Jyotish. Out of all, the most important are D-1, D-3 and D-9.
However it is also very important to note that knowledge of divisional charts is not widely found in the shastra. It is received from and guarded by the parampara.
As far as Vinod's questions are concerned, first of all Rasi is very general. Navamsa is more sort of internal. That is why this knowledge is rather kept secret – it can be misused.
Navamsa can be nicely used to check grahas dignity. It is therefore of utmost important in interpretation. As far as an example is concerned, there is one in 'Basics', and to be more precise in 'Questions about basics'.
Navamsa is often used for dealing with marriage. However it is of utmost importance as far as our relationship with God, dharma and other internal issues are concerned. As Jyotish is deeply connected with these, one cannot underestimate the value of Navamsa.

Yes, the most important is of course Shastyamsa (highest points in vimshopak bala), but the karma must fall through Navamsa filter (which life will actualize what) to be experienced in Rasi (areas, situation, blockages). Navamsa shows also mercy of God, focus of chart and fortune connected to every area of life. So two natives with same Rasi chart will have completely various lives depending on their Navamsa Kundali - because of focus, skills and actualization of previous lives desires.

|

My question is whether " Vargottam " also applies to Rahu & Ketu i.e if they are in same rasi ( sign ) in a Rasi chart & Navamsa , will they be good
in giving result.
Also some astro books refer to points gained in Navamsa chart,
can this be explained.
As explained by Sh Rafal ji - Navamsa chart shows marriage , also mercy of God, focus of chart and fortune connected to every area of life.
Is it possible to analyse Rasi chart vs Navamsa for following lady married in Feb 1995 , into teaching , lot of friends & religious minded.
Explanation would help in better understanding of Navamsa.

Hare Raama Krishna,
Namaskar,
As far as seeing various matters from the interrelation of Rasi and Navamsa is concerned, I know a method of taking 10th lord into consideration. This relates of course to job and occupation. Let's just take an example of this lady. We take the lord of the tenth house in Rasi and see in what sign it is present in Navamsa. This lady has Venus lording her tenth house, and in Navamsa this graha is present in sign ruled by Mercury. So this can suggest teaching.
As far as friends and gains are concerned in relation to both Rasi and Navamsa my suggestion is to first of all look at the 11th house and its lords. There are two: Mars and Ketu, whlie Mars is in own house in Rasi. In Navamsa both lords are very strong, Mars becomes even stronger, because of exaltation. This suggests prosperity of this bhava.

This show association in work and varna. My lord is Jupiter and being in mangal rasi (kshatrya) with mangal gives dynamic work envinroment full of rivalry and strong ambition. Jupiter is also AK here..and in fifth in D9.

It can be strong..so they will be strong..how about their relation with You? Bhava shows where they are (kona/kendra - wellwishers) while connection to Buddha (karaka for friendship) shows availability. Take again my chart: Mangal is 11L, its with exalted Ketu (enemy of Budha) so there should be spiritual friends but a lot of conflicts (badhaksthan). Now Buddha is in Kendra but we know that he hate forth bhava...so with Sun in Navamsa Lagna this gives only few friends..but they will cause this yoga in fifth.
I have A11 in Leo, Sun is with Jupiter, Venus and Sani, so best friends will come from Leo, Saggitarius, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Libra, Taurus Lagnas)

Hare Rama Krishna
Shri Rafal Ji & Sh Pablo Ji
I would like to understand the effects for situation where Shukra as 11L
is in 12H in Rasi ( Dhanu lagna), but in Navamsa it is exhalted by
being in 9th house in pisces.
As Shukra is also 6L in 12H , I feel it is good for 6H but not good for
11H if we consider Rasi. But if gets exhalted in Navamsa , how it will fare
for 11H things .
Thanks Vinod

Jaya Jagannath!
1. Kona to Navamsa Lagna shows personal traits, so being in 12H it can show good comforts and gains from hospitals/abroad/travels (if non-afflicted).
2. If its exalted then there is good luck to get the gains. If it would be 12L then its bad (dushtana lord should be weak in D9). Planets in 12H shows what the native will protect.
