Please clarify the following.
1. Why benefics are considered bad if placed in 3rd house.
2. Why Sun is considered bad if in 5th or 7th house.
3. Whether Mercury is considered weak if placed in 8th or 12 house.
4. What problem Rahu can give if placed in Libra.

#1 Good for what? For lordships? For native? For His cowardness? For His brother? For karaka of that planet? Generally....Its good as this form Mahabhagya Yoga giving fortune in Dasa of that benefic.
#2 Surya in seventh can give some drug use, if Lg and Rahu also touch it, otherwise its good, Surya in fifth is excellent.
#3 Buddha in eight is good per Shastra, twelfth bhava gives always hindrance to married life, rest depends on sign, navamsa placement and lordship.
#4 If it has connection to AL then bad prestigue due to woma(e)n.

If a kendra lord , say 10L ( Moon) for Libra lagna gets exalted in 8th house , it would be good for inheritance & longevity , but would it
also increase mental worries & chance for accidents ?
Regarding 10H characterstics - what can be said ? Good for profession & career or Bad ?

Eight house is worst house for Moon, but being exalted it will improve with time. 10L in eight gives short projects, lot of risk and unsteady circumstances.
Worries are seen in kona to Moon and AK.
