How much weightage can be given to transits , if a person is going thru
bad dasha ( 6 /8/12 lord) but say Saturn & jupiter are positioned
favourably in chalit , how to conclude Nishkarshay ( result ) .
Thanks Vinod

Gochar are triggering the bad karma and usually are set to confirm or precise the reading (Deva Keralam - Surya and Moon transits). When the Dasa is bad, the bad naturally will come so it has stronger predominance in chart but Gochar can show where are the helping or devastating forces. So Kantak Sani will be naturally bad but if we have good Dasa then we can meet good people and have auspicious range of choices to raise above the Kantak. We usually see Sani, Guru & Nodes Gochar to see how the effect would be for a period concerned. Nodes will show raja or pravraja, Guru blessings and good tides while Sani deaths, ilness, disapointments (naturally ruling Vayu Tattwa which divides). When there is contradiction results we should dig further and see only shallowness of our vision and try to get the common point, otherwise I definitely recommend seeing first at Dasas as they show You (Mahadasa), People (Antara) and Sambandha (PD). But You must also know what will the Dasa show..
I think this helps.
